That’s the hope and purpose of the annual COMMIT!Forum,  which begins October 8th. Leaders of non-profits and of corporations discuss ideas for improving the role of business in society as well as strategies to save money and drive sales through sustainable practices.

Microsoft, MoveOn.org, the Cato Institute, and Tyco are just a few of the organizations that have participated. How committed are they? Here’s what some of the attendees shared in interviews with V4G at last year’s conference.

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. discusses why the COMMIT!Forum is critical for environmentalists like himself.

Daniel Bross, Sr Director of Corporate Citizenship at Microsoft, explains the company’s approach to corporate citizenship and details the tech giant’s YouthSpark program.

Rachel Gutter, Director of the Center for Green Schools, talks about why many CSR initiatives fall flat and how to prevent that.
