Paul Newman started CECP (the Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy) with the goal of bringing corporate leaders together to combine their resources for the greater good. As CEO of the CECP, Daryl Brewster empowers executives to take CSR to the next level and reach the goal the organization was founded on. Video4Good caught up with Brewster at the COMMIT!Forum  in New York City this past fall to learn more.

Brewster, the former President and CEO of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, told us that instead of calling it corporate social responsibility, CECP likes to talk about “socially responsible corporations.” CSR can build a brand and attract top talent, he told us, but equally important, companies have an obligation to step it up.
