Michael Robinson discussed General Motors decision to sign the Ceres Climate Declaration, with Video4Good at this year’s Ceres Conference.  In this interview, he explains that GM was deliberating over a comprehensive strategy concerning energy policy and environmental issues and the Climate Declaration was a perfect fit.

As the first in its industry to sign the declaration, Robinson says that GM made the decision to take a leadership position on the issue with the hopes of engaging all stakeholders in “honest discussion about what needs to be done longterm.”  As he says, “we can’t afford to not have this discussion about where policy needs to be headed.”
